Dawsongroup’s £42 Million Land Sale

Freeths advised Dawsongroup on the completion of a £42 million deal to sell off a parcel of land in Bedfordshire.

The parcel comprises 14.7 acres of land located outside the village of Brogborough at junction 13 of the M1. The current average value for arable farming land in Bedfordshire stands at £10,725 per acre, but under Dawsongroup’s ownership the value appreciated by almost 28,000%. The land will be used for logistics and distribution. Dawsongroup will retain 30 acres of the original 70 acres purchased.
