Alton Cars’ MBO
Carrick Read Solicitors has advised on a management buyout (MBO) at Alton Cars, an accident repair group with 370 employees across 14 locations and a £48.5 million annual turnover. Grants Accountants also advised on the process.
Alton Cars is a Leeds-headquartered company with geographic coverage across Yorkshire, Humberside, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and maintains close working relationships with major insurers and accident management providers. It boasts 23 manufacturer approvals across the group and is said to be well-placed to continue handling considerable work volumes while delivering exceptional services in the wake of the MBO – which was supported by exiting founder Tony Parish, ensuring a future succession plan for the business.
