The value of the deal was not disclosed. Founded in 2008, A-Star Testing & Inspection employs 300 people and maintains its headquarters in Singapore and regional offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, India and other nations. Phenna Group CEO Paul Barry cited A-Star’s reputation as market leaders in Asia as a strong motivator for the transaction. “This landmark deal, our first partnership in Singapore, expands our growing international footprint and I’m excited to work with Bala and his team to help deliver their very ambitious growth plans,” he said in a statement.
