Patrick Mahomes Sr. Claims His X Account Was Hacked After Dissing Bills Mafia.

Patrick Mahomes Sr. is denying any ill will toward Buffalo Bills fans, despite a controversial post that had many riled up. The former MLB pitcher insists his X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked after a post appeared saying, "Today is a great day to not be from Buffalo," following his son’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, eliminating the Bills from Super Bowl contention once again.

The remark quickly angered many Bills fans, but Mahomes Sr. took to his Instagram to clarify the situation. "Patrick Mahomes Sr.’s X account has been compromised," a statement read, emphasising the family's respect for the Buffalo Bills organisation and their passionate fan base, known as #BillsMafia.

Interestingly, the original tweet still remains live on Mahomes Sr.'s X page, which only added to the confusion. Despite the controversy, Mahomes Sr. stands by his claim that he had no part in the post.

Bills fans didn’t hold back in their response, referencing Mahomes Sr.'s past legal issues, including a recent DWI arrest just days before Super Bowl LVIII. However, the tension seems somewhat moot now, as the Bills’ season came to an end with a 32-29 loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, leaving them once again on the outside of the Super Bowl race.

For the moment, it seems the focus is on Kansas City’s pursuit of a third consecutive Super Bowl title, while Bills fans find solace in whatever way they can.
