Uría Menéndez has successfully advised Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation (Wabtec) on its acquisition of 100% of the shares of Fanox Electronic from ABE Capital Partners and other minority stakeholders, including the company’s founder and management team.

The transaction, completed via Wabtec Netherlands, B.V., expands Wabtec's portfolio in the European industrial sector. While the exact value of the deal has not been disclosed, the acquisition positions Wabtec to further strengthen its presence in the rail technology and industrial safety markets.
