For more than 30 years, Amplexor Business Services has held a leading position in consulting, engineering and digital document management services, mainly for the defence, energy, telecoms and aeronautics sectors.
This operation aims to consolidate the current position of Amplexor Business Services in its market and to pursue the development of its related consulting and high value-added digital document engineering activities, in particular through external growth.
Maurer Law has been advising German newspaper Saarbrücker Zeitung, shareholder of Amplexor Group, on the sale of its indirect subsidiary Amplexor Business Services, a document management service provider, to French PE firm Hivest Capital Partners.
The transaction was led on the seller’s side by Dr Christoph Maurer (Maurer Law), assisted by Philippe Malikian and Claire Pecquet (both Delsol Avocats) for Corporate and Commercial issues, Eugénie Berthet (Hoche Avocats) for tax aspects and Jean-François Rage (Chammas & Marcheteau) for labour matters. The buyer was advised by Stéphane Huten, Arnaud Deparday and Agathe Faict (all Hogan Lovells).
This transaction preceded as spin-off the sale of Amplexor group to Acolad.
