Theresa Randle ‘Bad Boys’ actor detained by LAPD after suspected felony assault.

The 'Bad Boys' actor, Theresa Randle, 59, was taken into custody in Los Angeles this week on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, but was not charged. Randle, 59, was detained Monday over an incident that happened Saturday but has not been charged.

On Saturday, October 5, police was called to a residence in Los Angeles in connection with a reported assault; however, upon their arrival, Theresa Randle had already departed the location. Two days later, police received another call regarding a reported domestic violence situation and a violation of a restraining order at the same residence. Upon their arrival for the second time, officers took Theresa Randle into custody for felony assault related to the earlier incident.

Theresa Randle was uncooperative at the time of her arrest. Law enforcement sources say that the District Attorney dismissed the case when Randle appeared in court on October 9.

Theresa Randle Randle has appeared in various projects, during her career, including notable films like Beverly Hills Cop III, Bad Boys, and Space Jam. In May 2023, it was announced that her role in the Bad Boys franchise would be taken over by actress Tasha Smith and Randle will not be featured in Bad Boys 4.

The Los Angeles native received training in both dance and acting, embarked on her professional journey following her graduation from Beverly Hills High School. After spending several years in music videos, television commercials, and local theatre performances, Randle made her film debut in the late 1980s, taking on minor roles in "Maid to Order" and "Near Dark," both released in 1987.
