Based in Turkey, Şişecam is a major player in the global glass production industry, with a product and service portfolio that includes flat glass, glassware and glass packaging. The firm acquired EBRD’s 10% share in Sisecam Environmental Systems, leaving Şişecam as its sole shareholder. Şişecam and EBRD established Şişecam Environmental Systems jointly in 2016 to support the industrialisation of Turkey’s glass waste collection and recycling sector.
