CRS Acquires Allied Roofing

Cowgills advised Complete Roofing Systems (CRS) on its acquisition of Allied Roofing in a seven-figure deal. MacRoberts also advised CRS.

CRS is a Warrington-based roofing and cladding contractor with a staff of over 100 employees and numerous household names among its client base, including Aldi, AstraZeneca and the Ministry of Defence. Projects that CRS has undertaken across the UK include supermarkets, leisure and industrial sites. The firm has also worked on the refurbishment of Darwen Town Hall, the RAF barracks at Rhosneigr in Anglesey and the historic Calderstones mansion in Liverpool.

Allied Roofing was founded in 1989 and employs almost 30 staff today. The company specialises in pitched roofing and works primarily on public sector and social housing projects nationally. Its acquisition is intended to bring additional skills to CRS’s business, enabling the company to expand its presence in the social housing market. Allied Roofing will continue to operate under its own brand.

Cowgills provided corporate finance advice to CRS with a team led by director Benjamin Day.
