Obelisk Joins Constructel Visabeira
AMOSS Solicitors advised Irish engineering services business Obelisk on its sale to Constructel Visabeira, a global telecommunications and energy services provider and subsidiary of Grupo Visabeira.
This new partnership forms part of Obelisk’s growth strategy and will see the Irish business join Grupo Visabeira alongside other leading telecommunications and energy companies such as M J Quinn, which provides Obelisk and the wider group with access to a range of new markets including the UK, the US and continental Europe, in addition to generating more than £1 billion in expected annual turnover.
AMOSS Solicitors advised Obelisk with a team led by partner Bríd McCoy and comprising senior associates Eoin Mackessy and Andrea de Courcey from the corporate team. Specialist restructure advice was provided by Andrea de Courcey. Obelisk was also advised by IBI Corporate Finance, while Constructel Visabeira was advised by EY and DWF.
