Silicius Real Estate’s Trading on BME Growth
Squire Patton Boggs, Deloitte Legal and Ortego y Cameno Abogados advised Silicius Real Estate SOCIMI on its debut on BME Growth. The company began trading on BME Growth on 23 September under the ticker symbol “YSIL”.
BME Growth’s board of directors approved Solicius Real Estate’s listing after a thorough review and a favourable assessment report from the Coordination and Admission Committee on its listing. The company, valued at €556.13 million, is the twelfth to list on BME Growth in 2021.
Silicius is one of the fastest-growing REITs in the Spanish market. Managed by Grupo Mazabi, the company owns a portfolio of 45 real estate assets: 42 located in Spain and 3 elsewhere in Europe. Its investment policy is centred around diverse investments in office, logistics, residential, hotels, parks and shopping centre assets located in prime areas of major Spanish cities.
Squire Patton Boggs assisted Silicius in the coordination of all phases of the process of incorporation into the BME Growth segment of BME MTF Equity, particularly in corporate and contractual matters. The team was led by Financial Services Department counsel Ana Bohórquez, who joined Squire Patton Boggs last June, along with the rest of Pablo Rodríguez Abelenda’s team.
Silicus was also advised on tax and legal matters by a Deloitte Legal team led by partner Jon Arrarte and director Íñigo Zumalabe, and on corporate operations by a Ortego y Cameno Abogados team led by partner Luis Ortego Castañeda.
