The Oetker Group takes over the fast growing beverage delivery service flaschenpost SE
Dr. August Oetker KG intends to acquire the online beverage delivery service flaschenpost SE, based in Münster.
Corresponding contracts were signed on 30 October 2020. The transaction is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities; the purchase price was not disclosed, but is rumoured to be around a billion euros.
The Oetker Group is expanding the range of its online beverage delivery service Durstexpress GmbH, which belongs to the Radeberger Group. The expanded company is managed by a management board consisting of members of the management board of flaschenpost SE as well as the management of Durstexpress GmbH. The management board reports to a newly established supervisory board, which will be formed in the coming weeks. The online beverage delivery service will in future be managed and developed from two central administrations in Berlin and Münster.
