Mishcon de Reya announces NY partner promotion

Mishcon de Reya New York LLP is delighted to announce the promotion of Elizabeth M. Rotenberg-Schwartz to Partner, effective May 15, 2013.

 

Elizabeth joined Mishcon de Reya in January 2010 from Sheppard Mullin, where she had worked for five years in the business trial practice group.  She is an experienced litigator with wide-ranging experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation, including pretrial, trial and appellate work. She has represented clients in both federal and state courts and arbitral forums in a variety of general commercial and financial disputes including claims of fraud, breach of contract, and interference with contract. 

 

Elizabeth is admitted in New York, New Jersey, and as a solicitor in the Senior Courts of England and Wales.  She received her B.A., cum laude, from Barnard College in 1997 and her Juris Doctor degree from the Cardozo School of Law in 2003.  She served as a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York's Committee on Professional Ethics from 2008-2011 and began her second term in September 2012.  She is a frequent speaker on various legal ethics topics and serves as General Counsel to the Firm's New York office.  In 2012 and 2013, Elizabeth was named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers.
