The Los Angeles-based law firm Glaser Weil announced that Timothy B. McOsker, former Chief of Staff to Los Angeles Mayor Jim Hahn and former Chief Deputy City Attorney for the City of Los Angeles, has rejoined the firm as Partner. Mr. McOsker will co-chair Glaser Weil’s newly-formed Government and Regulatory Practice in the firm’s recently opened Downtown office at Bank of America Plaza, 333 S. Hope St., Suite 3700 Los Angeles, CA 90071.
Mr. McOsker has more than 25 years’ experience handling legislative and regulatory matters on behalf of both public and private clients, including land use, environmental, permitting, contracts and related issues, before local, regional and state governmental agencies. The firm’s 10-member Government and Regulatory Practice will focus on representing businesses and individuals before all agencies, departments and officials of state, municipal and county governments, as well as special districts throughout California in government contracts, government relations, legislative solutions, government regulation advice and advocacy, and land use, entitlements and environmental compliance.
“Tim’s background in public policy, land development and many other areas of governmental law will be a tremendous asset to the firm’s clients,” said Glaser Weil Managing Partner, Peter Weil. “Since we regularly handle complex real estate and land use matters, the expertise he brings will complement and build upon the services we offer.”
