International law firm Olswang announced the re-election of David Stewart (pictured) as Chief Executive Officer to lead the firm for the next three financial years.
As Olswang’s Chief Executive, David will chair the firm’s Executive Committee, which will be charged with implementing the firm’s strategy and managing the business. Prior to being elected Chief Executive in 2010, David had been Olswang’s Managing Partner since 2007.
During David’s tenure as CEO, Olswang has gone through a wave of international expansion, with the firm opening offices in Singapore in early 2012, Paris and Munich in 2011 and Madrid in 2010. Since 2010 Olswang’s revenues have increased by 19% and Profit per Equity Partner by 26%.
Mark Devereux, Senior Partner at Olswang, commented: “David’s re-election is a direct consequence of the clarity of his vision for Olswang and the results he has brought in his first term as CEO. The overwhelming vote in a high turnout poll demonstrates the partners’ confidence in David’s abilities.”
Olswang’s CEO, David Stewart, commented: “The next three years will provide us with increased opportunities to grow and transform the firm in an ever-changing global market place that demands increased specialisation. Through continued investment in key client relationships and our core sector focus we will deliver better services more efficiently, living up to our distinctive brand. I am delighted to be asked to lead the team that will help to shape and drive the firm’s success internationally over the next three years.”
