Former Head of Litigation & Dispute Resolution at Rickerbys joins Charles Russell LLP

Charles Russell LLP is delighted to announce that Colin Gibson has joined the firm’s dispute resolution department in Cheltenham as partner. Colin was previously Head of Dispute Resolution at Rickerbys and has over 17 years’ experience, the great majority at partner level.
Colin is one of the leading litigation lawyers in the region and advises on a wide range of litigation matters. He has particular experience in breach of contract claims, negligence claims and partnership disputes. He is also a licensed insolvency practitioner and mediator. Colin is particularly active in the Sports Sector acting for both players and clubs. Colin is also an RFU registered agent.
Colin’s recruitment means that the dispute resolution team now includes a dozen lawyers, including four partners, specialising in a range of disputes from property disputes and breaches of contract to intellectual property matters.

Since September 2012, the Cheltenham office has taken on an additional seven lawyers with others to join us over the coming months.
