Commenting on the two strategic hires, Matt Meyer, Taylor Vinters CEO, states: “Rhys and Charlie joining us demonstrates our commitment to invest and deliver our strategy – a strategy that has technology and investment work front and centre.

“The fact that we can attract lawyers of this calibre is a strong endorsement that we are delivering on our plan to be one of the leading technology firms operating internationally. Both are well-respected personalities in the tech sector from leading firms and were attracted to Taylor Vinters by our focus and international outlook. They join an unbeatable team of entrepreneurially-minded people who share a clear vision of excellence and a commitment to being one of the elite law firms operating internationally in the areas of technology, investment and private client.”

Taylor Vinters technology head, Patrick Farrant, added: “Our commercial and technology team has seen growth of 35% over the last financial year – the arrival of Rhys and Charlie heralds a team that is now 18-strong. Rhys is a telecoms, regulatory and IT specialist boosting our telecoms sector expertise. Charlie is a venture capital and investment specialist with a focus on advising technology, digital media, life sciences companies and investors. Both are immersed in the tech sector and understand the commercial drivers affecting tech companies and will be a great asset to our business. Rhys and Charlie will both be based in our Cambridge office working with our teams in London and Singapore. Their recruitment represents the approach we will take with further senior hires over the coming year in all three of our offices.”
