Punter Southall has promoted pension covenant specialist Lorant Porkolab and actuary Craig Wootton to Principal level.

A qualified actuary, Craig has more than 15 years&ssquo; experience in the pensions industry, primarily as a scheme actuary and corporate pensions adviser. Since joining Punter Southall’s Birmingham office in 2010, he has advised clients ranging from small businesses to multinationals. He also heads Punter Southall’s national Employer Advice research team, developing consultancy around areas such as benefit design, liability management and funding advice.
Craig said: “My experience means I have advised both trustees and corporate sponsors so I have built up a valuable perspective across the actuarial spectrum to inform our work with pension schemes across the whole range of issues they face.”
Commenting on the promotions, John Batting, Chief Executive of Punter Southall said: “At Punter Southall we understand that people are our strongest asset, and Lorant and Craig exemplify the kind of talent we value.
