Law firm DWF has further strengthened its Private Client team with the appointment of Jon Gould as an associate in its Newcastle office.

Complementing the skills of the existing Newcastle and wider Private Client team, Jon brings a wealth of experience in complex trusts and estates work, and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), following his completion of the STEP Diploma.

Jon has spent over six years working with high net worth individuals, honing his private client expertise. In addition to his estates and trusts work, Jon focuses his practice on tax planning, wills, Powers of Attorney and planning for care fees.

Graham Ball, director and national head of private client, said: “We are constantly investing in our offering to ensure that we maintain a team of industry leading specialists who are able to provide our clients with the very best service. Through appointments of experts like Jon, and promotions through our Talent Development Programme we are able to lead the field, providing an outstanding level of technical expertise and commitment to client care.”

Jon added: “I have dedicated my career to supporting high net worth individuals and am excited to be joining a team which is so highly regarded in the private client sector. My experience will bring a new perspective to the team and I look forward to helping grow the client base even further in Newcastle.”
