Leading Welsh law firm Dolmans has promoted solicitor Teleri Davies to the position of Associate.

Ms Davies qualified as a Solicitor at Dolmans in 2005 after previously having spent two years at the firm completing her graduate training contract. She graduated from Aberystwyth University as a Bachelor of Law before undertaking her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Cardiff University and joining Dolmans.

A fluent Welsh speaker, Ms Davies is now Associate within the defence litigation team at Dolmans. She defends a variety of claims on behalf of a number of local authorities and commercial clients. She has particular experience in dealing with public liability claims for compensation.

Ms Davies said: “Dolmans has a fantastic reputation within the Welsh legal sector with particular expertise for the work it does for local authorities. I am delighted to have achieved the position of Associate at Dolmans which follows a challenging and rewarding nine years at the firm. As part of this promotion I will take a greater involvement within the business, already having been involved in the marketing of Dolmans by contributing to its schedule of newsletters and workshops as well as its prestigious annual keynote seminar.”

Adrian Oliver, senior partner of Dolmans, said: “It is our great pleasure to promote Teleri to the role of Associate within the practice. At Dolmans, we have a strong tradition of staff development and rewarding the success of our team. This good news follows an ambitious period where we have developed in our new offices in Cardiff city centre and made four recent appointments, aiming as a firm to continue to work smarter and more efficiently to deliver results for our clients.”
