Freedman Weisz LLP, a full-service Los Angeles law firm, has announced the firm’s expansion adding tax specialist G. Frank Glabach and employment litigator Mika Hilaire. Mr. Glabach, a California Certified Specialist in both Taxation Law and Estate Planning, focuses his practice on corporate and commercial transactions, tax, partnerships, limited liability companies, real estate, estate planning, trusts and probate. Ms. Hilaire handles all aspects of employment law, advice and litigation, including harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination and wage and hour claims.

Mr. Glabach has particular expertise in tax compliance as it relates to federal estate tax, generation skipping transfer tax, gift tax, California sales tax and other tax issues. He also engages in a broad-based transactional law practice, including trust and probate litigation, conservatorships, guardianship, prenuptial agreements, advising small to mid-sized businesses, forming new businesses, real estate and other business law matters. Mr. Glabach obtained an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. He was previously associated with the firm of Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell LLP.


Ms. Hilaire represents clients in employment matters in state and federal courts, arbitrations, administrative proceedings and mediations throughout California.  She also has extensive experience litigating large and complex class actions.  Ms. Hilaire was recently appointed to The State Bar of California Labor and Employment Executive Committee and will serve on the committee until 2014. She has been named to the list of Southern California Super Lawyer – Rising Stars from 2007 to the present. Ms. Hilaire received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
