Liberty Global Strengthens its Legal Team

Liberty Global, Inc. (“Liberty Global” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: LBTYA, LBTYB and LBTYK), today announced that it has promoted Jeremy Evans to Deputy General Counsel effective April 1st, 2012. Jeremy was previously the Head Counsel, Global Finance for Liberty Global and General Counsel of Liberty Global’s content division, Chellomedia.
Bryan Hall, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Liberty Global, said: “Jeremy has been a great contributor to the Company’s legal department and has provided creative business-oriented legal advice on a host of issues for Liberty, including complex financing transactions, for several years, I am looking forward to his future contributions to the Company in an even broader role.
Jeremy will take on a broader leadership role for the Company’s legal team and continue his lead responsibility for legal advice on Liberty Global’s financing initiatives, while also managing the legal support for the Company’s M&A activity. He will continue to be based in London.
He has served as Senior Corporate Counsel to Liberty Global since 1999 and joined the subsidiary Chellomedia in 2004Prior to his time with Liberty and Chellomedia, Jeremy was an attorney at Clifford Chance.
