Salans announced in January 2012 that it had joined forces with Balcioğlu Selçuk Akman Keki (BASEAK) in Istanbul. The new partnership, led by Galip Selçuk, focuses on advising clients on international financing, corporate restructuring, dispute resolution and energy & infrastructure projects. Salans has offered services in Turkey since 2003.
Dariusz Oleszczuk said: “Turkey is a major growth area in Europe and an attractive destination for investors both from within and outside the EU. It is becoming a regional power and has an ambitious and impressive strategy for the future. After eight years in this jurisdiction, we are excited to be part of Turkey’s success and to see its emerging opportunities come to fruition. We are determined to strengthen our position here and our partnership with Balcioğlu Selçuk Akman Keki has expanded our ability to offer a full spectrum of legal advice to investors in Turkey and to Turkish companies involved in international transactions. It has been a pleasure to celebrate this with our clients and friends in Istanbul.”
