NESTA Protector

James Sinclair Taylor, a Partner and Head of the Charity and Social Business Team at Russell-Cooke Solicitors has been appointed as a Protector of the NESTA Trust, the successor the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts which has been formed into a charity.


James is well known for his work in advising charities, social enterprises and other not for profit organisations.  He is the co-author of the Russell-Cooke Legal Handbook, and Visiting Fellow at London Southbank University.


James has an interest in social change, environmental charities, human rights and overseas aid bodies.  He advises a wide range of charities including UNICEF, the Youth Hostel Association and Action for Blind People.


James said: ‘This is an intriguing and unique role safeguarding a huge public investment in innovation’.
