DWF Recruits Dickinson Dees Director
24 Apr, 2012
Business law firm, DWF, has recruited Robin Steel as a corporate partner in its Newcastle office, following the expansion of the firm’s North East operations.
Robin, who was previously at Dickinson Dees, has extensive technical experience in corporate transactions, and has acted for a wide variety of private businesses, listed entities, banks and international corporations on a number of regional and national deals. Robin also has substantial expertise in the passenger rail transport sector, having acted for a number of UK train operators on franchising and related projects.
Robin’s appointment comes after the successful merger of DWF and Crutes, which saw the combined firm substantially increase its presence in the region alongside the appointment of banking and finance expert, Deborah Kirtley, as a partner in the Newcastle office.
John Flynn, Corporate and Executive Partner at DWF’s Newcastle office, said: “Our North East operations are going from strength to strength, and the Newcastle office is no exception. We are making a number of exciting appointments over the next few months, and the recruitment of Robin is testament to our on-going strengthening of the corporate offering for our clients in the North East and beyond.”
Robin added: “DWF’s corporate team is renowned for its expertise and impressive client relation skills and I look forward to helping secure strong, client-led, growth from the Newcastle office.”
