The IMS Group (‘IMS’), the leading regulation and compliance consultancy, has been named ‘Best Regulatory Consultancy’ in the 2012 Hedge Fund Journal Awards for the fourth year running. This comes only two weeks after IMS was also named as ‘Best European Regulatory Advisory Firm’ at the third annual Hedgeweek Awards.

The Hedge Fund Journal ‘Best Regulatory Consultancy’ award was presented on the 15 March in a ceremony which recognised the leading service providers to the European hedge fund industry. At Hedgeweek’s 2012 awards, held on 2 March, IMS won the accolade for the second year in a row. The Hedgeweek Awards acknowledge services to the industry in light of the tough financial and economic conditions of the past five years and IMS’ ability to adapt to an ever changing regulatory environment.

Peter Moore (pictured), head of compliance and regulation, The IMS Group said: “What we do well is look down the line and assess the impact on the industry to give clients relevant and timely information. We let clients know what they need to know, and at the right time. We are thrilled that we have been recognised for the continued high quality service we deliver to our clients.”

Michel van Leeuwen, chief executive, The IMS Group said: “Our continued recognition marks the emphasis we put on constant development, helping us to provide the best regulatory advice for our clients year on year and continue to grow as a global firm. With our recent acquisition of HedgeOp in the US we look forward to working with clients with a transatlantic presence with our increased talent pool and expertise.”
