AXA Real Estate appoints Sarah Leroy as Global Head of Legal

 

Legal team restructured to enhance strategic and operational objectives

 

AXA Real Estate Investment Managers (“AXA Real Estate”), the leading real estate portfolio and asset manager in Europe*, with over €40 billion of assets under management as at June 2011, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Sarah Leroy as Global Head of Legal. She is heading a 14 people team, in charge of any legal issues relating to the management of real estate assets and commercial real estate loans, in all regions where AXA Real Estate operates.

 

Sarah joined AXA Real Estate in 2003 and in the last eight years she has served as Head of Legal Affairs – Corporate Finance for France and subsequently led the Clients, Products and AXA Real Estate Contracts Global Legal team. Prior to joining AXA Real Estate, Sarah was a member of the Paris bar and practiced in Mergers and Acquisitions with the international firms Jones Day and August & Debouzy.
