Schultze & Braun proclaimed “German law firm of the year”

Schultze & Braun’s team is celebrating this week following the firm winning “German law firm of the year” at The Lawyer’s European Awards for 2011.

The law firm impressed judges with its submission which included high-profile cases such as the restructuring of Almatis, handling the insolvency of the SaarGummi Group, and one of the most significant insolvencies in the maritime sector, the Beluga Shipping Group (one of the biggest heavy lift shipping companies in the world) or like the recent engagement in winding down the European business of solar module maker Solyndra.

Specialist insolvency and restructuring law firm Schultze & Braun has offices throughout Germany, as well as in France and in London. It produces the definitive ‘Insolvency and Restructuring in Germany Yearbook’, together with extensive commentaries on the evolution of European distressed debt legislation.

“The firm’s cross-border team is now continuing to build our presence and reputation in the US and France.
