TerraLex Global Law Firm Network Appoints Harry P. Trueheart as Chairman and CEO


TerraLex, one of the world’s largest global legal networks, has announced that Harry P. Trueheart III, (pictured) has been appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  TerraLex is a worldwide network of more than 155 leading independent law firms in 100 countries and 44 US states, with an aggregate of more than 15,000 lawyers. 


Trueheart is Chairman Emeritus of TerraLex member firm Nixon Peabody LLP where he led his firm for more than 15 years.  Mr. Trueheart’s law practice focuses on resolution of business disputes.  He has extensive experience in resolving international business issues including large-scale disputes in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and India.  He regularly serves as an arbitrator and mediator.  Mr. Trueheart, a graduate of Harvard Law School, J.D. and Harvard University, B.A. and also of the University of Michigan School of Business Executive Program, regularly writes and speaks on legal management issues including legal project management.

Retiring Chairman, Charles McCallum, was honored at the Global Meeting for his past five years of leadership of TerraLex, during which the network increase substantially in size and scope .  “It has been a privilege working with such a great group of law firms.  I am proud that through TerraLex, our member firms can offer a superior solution to clients’ international legal needs. I am leaving the organization in good hands.”
