Franchising, the way forward to a stronger economy

2010 has been a year where many businesses have seen a recovery and the banking system has started to stabilise itself. It is said to be the longest recession since the Great Depression and although growth will be seen, it will not be significant enough to make up the damage that has been done over the last 3 years. It is obvious that many industries will not see a decent profit for the next few years however, an industry that has survived despite the economic difficulties is franchising. Franchising does offer a certain security for people; starting a business that is already successful increases your chances of a reasonable profit and may even be encouraging for a lender when you are looking for financial backing. Over recent years franchise growth has been over five times greater than that of the UK economy.
